United forward Matt Brown has been awarded the first unanimous selection for Player of the Week this season in the NPSL.

Brown scored two goals against FC Buffalo Sunday to lead United to a 2-1 victory. Brown scored his eighth and ninth goals this season to bring his season total to nine goals in 10 games.

Sunday was Brown’s third multi-goal game this season. On May 18 against the Michigan Stars, the captain recorded his and the club’s first hat trick. On May 31 against the Erie Admirals, Brown recorded a brace.

Brown is one of only four (Brian Cunningham, Austin Dunn, Zach Bennett) players to play all 10 games for United.

He has taken 30 shots with 18 on goal.
