Head Coach Nate Miller

image1Nate Miller was hired as the second head coach and general manager in Lansing United history in October of 2015, aiming to lead the club to even more success in its third season.

Miller has spent four seasons as head coach at Spring Arbor University. Before joining the coaching ranks, Miller was a standout midfielder at Taylor University in Upland, Ind. He was selected to the Mid-Central Conference (MCC) all-conference team in 2005 and 2006 and was named to the all-region team in 2007.

Following his playing career, he spent time as an assistant coach at his alma mater, where he helped guide the Cougars through the most successful period in school history. As an assistant, Miller had a three-year record of 40-19-3 and Spring Arbor made the national tournament for the first time. He is also an ODP staff coach and has coached at the Jackson Rush program. He holds an USSF ‘A’ license and embodies the qualities that Lansing United is known for.

Miller and his wife, Darcy, reside in Spring Arbor, Mich., and have two children, Cohen and Stella.
