The National Premier Soccer League today announced the All-Midwest teams for the 2015 season.

Four Lansing United players were selected: Jimmy Fiscus (first team), Quinn McAnaney (second team), Stephen Owusu (honorable mention) and Austin Dunn (honorable mention).

Fiscus, a defender, was named to the All-Midwest Region first team following his first season with United. The Novi native and Michigan State sophomore started in seven of his eight appearances for Lansing.

McAnaney, Fiscus’ teammate at Michigan State, was named to the All-Midwest Region second team. The goalkeeper made four starts for United, finishing with a GAA of 0.75 (three goals allowed) and a save percentage of .786. He had a record of 3-1-0 with one shutout.

Owusu scored two goals for United in 2015 and tied for the team lead in shots with 27. He appeared in 10 games in his first season with Lansing. Dunn continued his spectacular United career this summer, scoring his first career goal and assisting on another while anchoring the team’s back line. He tied for the team high in appearances with 11 and logged the most minutes with 956. Owusu and Dunn were selected as All-Midwest Region honorable mentions.

Last season, Dunn was named to the NPSL Supporters’ XI.

The 2014 Midwest Region champions finished the 2015 season with a 6-4-2 record.
